An oversized, cropped sailor collar button-down. Features a chest pocket and visible mending patch sewn from an antique boro textile from the same era. The back collar features hand-sewn sashiko stitching that follows the design of the manga print.

The main textile utilized is an antique furoshiki circa the Taisho/Showa-era. This unique fabric showcases indigo-printed comic panels, the graphics of which appeared in Jiji Manga, a comic supplement first appearing in the Sunday edition of Jiji shimpo in 1902.

The hand-drafted pattern took inspiration from vintage USN militaria wear and given an updated design with a boxy cropped fit, a dropped shoulder, and half-length sleeves.
