A destroyed mid-century chambray button down that has been repaired, restored, and reworked. Featuring an appliqué composed of indigo-dyed antique boro scraps with hand sewn sashiko stitching throughout. Features both machine and hand-sewn visible mending techniques.

Due to the antique nature of the original piece, all destroyed and disintegration effects are genuine, including stains and tears. Given the delicate nature of the chambray, all original repairs were redone and reinforced to maintain structural integrity and further longevity of the piece. Patches that intersected at seams were made by drafting a pattern for that specific patch in order to maintain the intention and integrity of the seam as well as the shape of the garment. Original plastic buttons have been replaced with genuine natural horn buttons.
