Full length shawl collar wool coat featuring a hand-appliquéd vintage Nepalese Nuno felt composed of cashmere & silk. Embellished by hand with over a thousand freshwater pearls. Lined with ethically made, hand-woven raw ahimsa silk that was hand-dyed in house with a small-scale indigo vat.

Details:
Constructed from recycled wool that was salvaged from other projects, pieces, and scraps. Patchworked together then partially boiled to gently blur the patchwork lines without erasing them. Showcasing a Nepalese Nuno felt composed of cashmere & silk that was carefully cut from a small vintage remnant, then appliquéd by hand with silk thread. Further embellished with over a thousand real freshwater pearls that were individually beaded by hand. Lining composed of ethically sourced hand-woven raw ahimsa silk that was dyed in-house with a homemade indigo vat recipe to provide an ombré effect. Features hand-made toggle closures composed of natural horn and 100% cotton roping which was whipped and sewn by hand before tacked down and secured through all layers. Inner back yoke displays a hand-made label made from an ink-transfer process onto 100% cotton twill which was subsequently hand-painted for effect. Finished with invisible hand-stitching at the bottom hem facing as well as the inner placket facings.
